Peter Landsberger has lived in Los Altos since 1978, the year he was appointed Foothill-DeAnza’s first General Counsel. Over time his duties expanded and in 1983 he was promoted to Vice Chancellor of the district, serving as the Chancellor’s chief deputy and executive in charge of all district office operations.
Peter is currently Vice President of the Foothill-De Anza Board of Trustees. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Foothill De Anza Foundation, the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, and UNITE-LA, an education related non-profit organization in Los Angeles. Previously he served on the board of directors of the SVO Foundation in San Jose.
Peter’s wife, Claire Noonan, retired after more than 25 years of service as a classroom teacher for the San Jose Unified School District. Peter and Claire have two daughters. Sarah is an elementary school teacher in the Palo Alto Unified School District, and Anne works for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as a development professional.
